Condition grade
The single biggest factor. A pristine bag commands a premium. An honest Grade D is priced to reflect that — and our customers know exactly what they're getting.
Market demand
Classic Chanel flaps hold value differently than seasonal styles. We monitor resale markets globally and price relative to what the piece is actually worth today.
Scarcity
Discontinued hardware, rare colourways, limited editions — scarcity drives premiums. We document exactly why a piece commands more, so you understand what you're paying for.
Completeness
Original dustbag, authenticity card, receipt, box — each adds measurable value. We list exactly what comes with each bag. A complete set commands more. A bag without papers is priced accordingly.
Our margin policy
We operate on minimal margins. Our goal is to keep luxury circulating — not to extract maximum profit from it. If we think a bag is priced above what the market supports, we say so before we list it.
Modifications & history · Full disclosure
We tell you everything.
If a bag has been modified, repaired, restored, or altered in any way — we say so. Explicitly. In the listing. Before you buy. This is non-negotiable for us.

Original colour, new colour, and who performed the dye — all documented.
Replaced trims or straps
Whether the strap is original, replaced, or upgraded — stated clearly.
Hardware changes
Non-original hardware noted with original specification where known.
Repairs & stitching
Any professional repair work listed — location, type, and quality of repair.
Lining replacement
If the interior lining has been replaced, fabric and quality noted.

What we won't sell · Our limits
We accept almost everything.
We take bags in almost any condition — because most bags can be restored, honestly priced, or passed on to someone who values them for what they are. But there are limits.

Bags in genuinely unsalvageable condition — structural failure, severe mould, irreparable damage that no restoration can address.

Replica or counterfeit pieces — regardless of quality. We authenticate everything and reject anything we cannot verify as genuine.

Pieces with unclear or disputed provenance that we cannot document to our standard.
